11:30 – Registration 12:00-12:45 – Ballet 12:45-1:30 – Modern 1:30-2:00 – Improvisation 2:00 – Interviews
Preparing for the Audition
The Dance Scholarship Audition is an opportunity for students interested in pursuing a major or minor in dance to visit campus and meet faculty and students in the UT Dance Program. We look forward to your visit!
Students auditioning should come prepared to participate in both Ballet and Modern Dance technique classes alongside UT students. Please bring ballet shoes (if you have them) and also be prepared to dance barefoot.
Students auditioning do not need to prepare a solo or submit a resume.
Students auditioning will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and current scholarship students. You may want to bring a change of clothes for these events.
